Emergency First Response (EFR)
Approximate Duration: 1 Day, (Dry Course)
Primary and Secondary Care
EFR courses are invaluable. After taking this course you will have the skills and confidence to provide primary care (CPR) and secondary care (First Aid) to someone requiring it. Hopefully you will never need to use the skills that you will learn during this course but you having them could one day help to save a life or provide basic first aid to someone confidently. These are skills that everyone should have, including all levels of divers. This course is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course and we are happy to combine your EFR training with your PADI Rescue Diver course but we also recommend it to all levels of divers and also non divers. During the course you will learn how to provide CPR and why it helps. You will also learn about your role as an Emergency First Responder as well as accident management and how to provide basic first aid in different scenarios to people with different kinds of injuries. You will also learn about controlling serious bleeding and shock management as well as other useful skils.
We also offer EFR Care for Children courses as well as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) courses. These can be combined with your Primary and Secondary Care training.
